shipping module is adding 3lbs to my orders....
suddenly my orders seem to be incorrect. the shipping module is adding an additional 3lobs to my orders for some reason. ie when I add only one item to my sample order, which has weight of "1", and do 'Estimate Shipping", it tells me the following:
Estimate Shipping Costs
Total Items: 1 Weight: 4lbs Amount: $3.25
I am using "Zone Rates" for my orders.
I can provide any needed additional order upon request
this was working last week so somehow I must have changed something by mistake

Check your tare weight.
Configuration > Shipping/Packaging >
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:1
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 0:3

hah yeah that was it. i did recently change shipping methods to weight. its always something easy isnt it :-)
I assume those two are just there to add additional weight to shipping costs to take into account box/tape/filler/etc
the numbers were 0:3 and 10:0 and I changed both to 0:0. I am already adding $4.35 base to each order and my "weights" table already takes into account additional shipping costs like box/tape/filler/etc so I should be ok
