Database description area?

Is there a simple area that describes the Zen Cart database and all its fields and their purpose? I can usually figure out the fields but knowing what each and every one does would help me make fewer mistakes I have to later fix (by adding values into).

What prompted me about this is that I'd like to know how to setup multiple price points on products--through the database that is. How can I tell Zencart that for 3+ qty, the price is lower? And for 10+ it's even lower?
