Error establishing a database connection

Hi,
I'm moving my site to a new host and I've been stuck on this problem most of the day. I'm hoping someone here is able to help me out here.

To move the site I've followed the directions as suggested in this article:

I've imported the old DB successfully into the new one. All files are uploaded and I can connect and browse the Admin area with no problem; however..
the shop's main page loads normally but when I click on any link I get this error:

Error establishing a database connection

I've checked the configure.php files and both have the same database connection defines and error is only generated when connecting to store, not the admin.

Anyone has a suggestion?

I found out what the problem was. It was SEO URLs module. I disabled it and voila! I guess, I just reinstall the module.

Me too, my scalp should be bleeding from all the hair pulling I have done today. It turned out to be the wp-config file in wordpress that was causing the error. If only the error had been WORDPRESS HAD AN Error establishing a database connection.

Oh well, hope this helps someone else...
