Database Backup

This contribution allows you to backup and restore your Zen Cart database, does not require exec so should work on most if not all shared hosts.

Based on the oscommerce backup script but modified for zen and with better compression options.

Creation and restore tested working on:

Server OS: Linux 2.6.9-023stab033.6-smp
Database: MySQL 3.23.58
HTTP Server: Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat)
PHP Version: 4.3.2 (Zend: 1.3.0)

This worked great, I have tried everything to get a db backup setup for someone that uses godaddy and none of the mods here worked, your works very well!

i tried another backup utility that would not work on shared hosting at GoDaddy.

this one actually works! Should be added to contributions!

I'd like to try this tool but I see that the ReadMe says that it's for ZenCart 1.3.8a. I'm still running ZenCart 1.3.7 - will this work for me? (I like to ask the stupid questions rather than make the stupid mistakes...)
