EZ pages sidebox not showing after upgrade

I am starting with a new 1.3.8 install, but using a 1.2.6d db from an existing store that has been upgraded to a 1.3.8 db.

I have enabled EZ pages in both admin/configuration and admin/layout boxes controller as a sidebox. I have created at least 2 pages with sort orders greater then 0.

The EZ page sidebox in not showing???

Of course it works fine on a complete new 1.3.8 install...

Anyone have any suggestions?

When you look at the EZ Pages you've created in Admin/Tools/EZPages,
does the button for the sidebox show green?

OK,

May be someone can explain this. Once I rebooted my PHP5 / MySQL5 dev system AND set EZ pages active in the Header as well as the Sidebox, both started working???

Now all location combinations seem to work as expected!
