    Default Will this fix zencart, godaddy and linkpoint?

    Godaddy sent me this... I'm guessing I need to replace the paypal.com bit - anyone know where it would go? Their techie didn't really sound too darn techie... The linkpoint guy kept telling me that he didn't support zen cart...

    <?

    $URL="https://www.paypal.com";
    if (isset($_GET["site"])) { $URL = $_GET["site"]; }
    $ch = curl_init();
    echo "URL = $URL <br>n";
    curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_VERBOSE, 1);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPPROXYTUNNEL, TRUE);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_PROXYTYPE, CURLPROXY_HTTP);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_PROXY,"http://proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128");
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $URL);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 120);
    $result = curl_exec ($ch);
    echo "<hr><br>n";
    echo 'Errors: ' . curl_errno($ch) . ' ' . curl_error($ch) . '<br><br>';
    echo "<hr><br>n";
    curl_close ($ch);
    print "result - $result";
    echo "<hr><br>n";

    ?>

    you need to get the proxy cURL address from godaddy, and put it in the config settings in your ZC admin

    thats all you need to do,

    Their tethered techdrone says that it'll only work with a primary hosting account... I've got my main "premier" account, and they told me that I could host whatever accts I wanted with it, but it seems that won't work with going out to a cc processor... Be nice if they'd told me...

    Their shared hosting doesn't allow access to linkpoint, despite even the many attempts we as the Zen Cart team have made to get them to change that restriction.

    Their goal is to sell you more expensive services.

    I don't know why anybody hosts their business on GD servers ... they're definitely not the best hosting out there.

    If you want hosting that "cares" about running your ecommerce business, click on the "hosting" link at the top of this page ... you'll probably find even better deals there than what you're offered now ... and they'll be much better than what you actually "do" have now.

    Well, this is going up tonight on one of their $4/month dealies... But everything else as I go is gonna go somewhere else. And they're going to hear about why. I'm peeved. And I'm VERY good at being peeved... My little site, www.stickertramp.com, may not be much, but I've got friends. And I've got word of mouth. And it's had 9,000 hits this past week. I'm getting phone orders, because folks don't wanna use paypal. Argh...

    I need a beer.

    Hopefully, it'll copy, and then copy back... I'm about an hour into the first ftp...

    Oh, and a long time ago, not so far away, I was an ubergeek... I'm new to e-commerce programs. I'm not new to how the web organism thinks. I think I just got a new hobby...

    Three hours of sleep.

    About two-three hours on hold, and while I used to like the Squirrel Nut Zippers, hearing the same minute of the same tune looped over and over and over doesn't work.

    Moving stuff to a guy I shoot with's server - wellbuiltnetworks.net... He's not familiar with Zen, but when I asked him about the port 1129, what I heard was "Yeah, gimme a coupla hours, and I'll punch a hole in the firewall for you."
