Featured products with some showing 'quantity box'

I have set up a few featured products on my site, but for some reason when you go to the 'featured' product listings one of the products has the 'Add quantity to cart' box below it, but the other two items don't.

Personally, I'd prefer it not to have this box, but perhaps the 'more info' button instead. I don't know why it is only showing on one product though.

How can i get rid of it?

I appear to have solved this. The products that have a 'more info' button do so because they have attributes set, whereas new products, or products without attributes have a quantity box by default!

You are absolutely correct.

Admin > Configuration > Product Listing >
Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)
and
Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location
can affect this behavior as well.
