help question EZ Pages, Avoiding Absolute Links

    Hi.

I have a few ez pages generated using the built-in html editor in ZenCart Admin. For some of the images displayed on the pages, I've been using absolute links (http://blablablabla/images/image2.jpg) for urls.

I would like to use ZenCart's relative url linking for this. How do I go about doing it?

    Thanks!

/"whatever the url-directory structure is"dot image extension should work. Keep in mind that using the absolute URL will make it just about impossible for the image to "get lost" so to speak.

help question Re: EZ Pages, Avoiding Absolute Links

So for example, if I had been using an absolute image link like

    http://www.mydomain.com/store/images...dir/image1.jpg

Then for the relative link I would use

    /images/imagedir/image1.jpg ?

I'm asking because every time I "edited" the image url in the EZPages editor, it always reverts back to an absolute address, i.e. http://somethingsomething... and often times it's the wrong one.

    Thanks for any help available.

link problem Re: EZ Pages, Avoiding Absolute Links

I tried to under stand the absolute v relative link info. but can't seem to grasp it.

I created a bunch of e-z pages that are supposed to link to various .pdf files in my /public_html folder. If you visit the site and then come back to it and click on an e-z page an error like the following shows:

The requested URL /file_name.pdf&zenid=aa1a85b0535e0f04a19a58b82f833416 was not found on this server.

this results in a 404 error. The file is in fact there, set to non-SSL. Is this a cookie issue with the "&zenid=" after the file name??

The links I created in e-z page are internal name only the file. ie. file_name.pdf

Could someone help me understand this ( i don't follow the example given " index.php?main_page=reviews" at all) and offer a correction so that the e-z page links to the file.
    site: acornvitamins.com

    Thanks in advance,
    ooakllc
