Default HTTP 408/409 error at order completion page

I've just started getting a HTTP408/409 Server error message on my site, at the final stage of the checkout process. Basically, after the customer has entered their credit card details (using Protx direct) and confirmed them.

The page that it tries to go to is:
    https://www.monkeynose.co.uk/index.p...eckout_process

but this fails as it eventually returns a HTTP408/409 Server error, and states that 'The website is too busy to show the webpage'.

I have spoken with my webhost (godaddy.com) and they aren't blocking anything and all appears okay on their side. My site did work a few days ago as I tested it before going live.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Or how I can fix it? I really don't want to re-install ZC.

    Many thanks!

Doesn't sound like a "need ro reinstall zen cart" problem. Have you turned off the Protx and triend to checkout using any other payment method?

I've just turned off the Protx.
The 2 other payment options I have are 'PayPal' and 'Pay by Cheque/Check'.

I've just placed an order and paid by cheque, and it has gone through okay - and taken me to the checkout_success page. So that appears to be working fine.
