Default Re: Where to Change the config.php file to point to new downloads folder?

I really hate to kick this up because it looks like most of these issues have been thoroughly covered, but I've come up with yet another variation on the problem I think.

I relocated the download directory, edited the configuration files, and my downloads work smoothly.

BUT in the attributes controller, the red dot persists, indicating I've used an invalid filename or path (or something).

Since the downloads actually work, I'd be tempted to sneak away from this but presume it'll bite me some time in the future.

This is some kind of problem with the configuration files, right?

    Thanks.

Yes, your admin configure.php doesn't contain the same DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD value as your non-admin configure.php does. You need to fix your admin one since it's your admin that's not working properly.
Remember: if the file is read-only then you can't save changes to it without first making it writable. Then make it read-only again when finished.

Thank you; it's amazing how long I can stare at a typo and not see it.

A little rest never hurts either..........
