Gallery Integration with Zencart

This is such a great solution but I think being able to :

pick which image is your default folder image would be great as well as adding a custom title and/or caption

same for images

After some testing I am able to confirm that if you simply place the number 1 in front of the filename of the file you want as the default folder image, it will use that one.

Both folders have the same images in them however I added the number 1 in front of one different file in each folder, hence the outcome.

ok I had a look with limited access (that I pm you about)

Firstly, I never tested the gallery function as part of EZ pages, and as soon as I placed the code into the page 2 it works straight off, so It may be simpler to take the page2 and place the link to that into your ezpages menu instead.

I did also try using the link instead of html in the EZPage and that also works, so, in theory you can turn off the page 2 from being visible in the menus of the site, but still link directly to the actual page using ezpages, I have made the changes as best I can, though without ftp access I cannot modify the page 2 file to say gallery, but am sure your ok with that

ok so for those who want to have the gallery linked inside EZ Pages menu systems do the following.

Paste the code as per instructions into Page 2,3 or 4 your choice, then go to the ezpages, setup the link to page 2 (something like this)

index.php?main_page=page_2

Using the internal link option (note if you have already put html or text in the window above it will not save without removal of this content)

When thats done, simply goto define page status under the configuration menu, and set the page you want to use ( page 2 3 or 4) to 2 and it will hide page 2 from the menu of the shop but the gallery link you setup in Ez pages will work fine

yeah I just checked that out, that is really cool

I can still see where you can access the gallery in two ways

one is through the zen site , the other is through the actual folder URL

i wonder if there is a way to fix that.

did you have to change anything else in there?

No did not have to change anything else to get that solution working, as to the other issue I am still working on that side of things.

The way I see it is if the gallery can be run from within the includes folder that would solve the issue, however that is no simple thing to achieve.

I get the gallery working but no images or thumbs display when I test it, again leave it with me I will see what I can do.

Trying to get this working installed in a subfolder (ie not in root). Adapted code to 'subfolder/gallery/', but not working for me. What am I missing?

Got it on main page now, along with a load of errors, which weren't there before.
If gallery is in root/subfolder, should code be:-

I don't understand why it works even though errors, and code used is
