Cleaning Admin Activity Log

This is probably very elementary, but we can't find any documentation on this. We are getting this message about admin logs needing cleaning and would like to do so without deleting valuable info.
Is this done in the admin control panel or by removing log files from server ?

You should back-up your site and database on a daily basis. (I host my sites with organisations that provide daily back-up as a matter of course - they charge a nominal annual fee.) If you have a very busy webshop, either clear the cache during a quiet period, or set your site to "Down for maintenance".

Assuming that your database is backed up, you can now clear the admin cache via your ADMIN-TOOLS-STORE MANAGER interface.

Just click the RESET BUTTON.

In all the years I've been running my webshops, I must have cleared the caches a hundred times and never had a error - but play safe, and backup your d-base first.
