Please help me find where...

to remove the text "Click here for updates on holiday production times" in the sidebox area.

I did not design the site, but I need to remove that. I know its hard coded but I don't know where the heck the file is. I sent some time searching already, Zen's developers toolkit and dreamweaver cannot find it.

I would suggest giving the Developers Tool Kit another go. It might have been that you didn't search correctly. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page where is says "Look-up in all files", type into the search field just below it, "holiday production". Try selecting "All files Catalog/Admin" next to it. Then search.

If that doesn't produce any results, I don't think there's a lot else that can be done. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I guess you could try contacting the person who designed your site.

By the looks of it when I click on the area is that it is setup under ez-pages.

If you log in under your admin account and go to tools-EZ-Pages do you see a page there that has the status box as green? If so click on it to edit it. By looking at the page source code that appears to be where it is coming from.

It's not ezpages, I checked that --- its not in there anywhere, just the header links are. I tried the toolkit and went to the bottom box and nothing came up either. Any other ideas??

Found it, it was in the banner manager? No idea why!

Do you have by chance a sidebox called bannerbox2? (log into your admin and look under tools-layout boxes controller.) If you do then look in /includes/modules/sidesboxes/(hopefully a template override name) The link you see above is hard coded in either a sidebox or a banner. go to tools-developers toolkit and in the bottom box enter
<a href="/index.php?main_page=page&id=2">

click the dropdown box and chose the top option.
It should (hopefully) return the file that contains this code and tell you
exactly where it is and on what line number.

Give that a try, and if you are still having problems, post back.
