how do i remove the gap under my header and above categories?

Sorry...in your template's stylesheet.css.

i followed the instructions on changing the text, but nothing happened. do i have to make a new folder called ENGLISH/CUSTOM/index.php and put the file in there? i did this and nothing still =[

Yes, you would need to make a custom folder (named mihluna) in includes/languages/english, and upload the altered copy of index.php
to it for your changes to show.

If you're not familiar with how the overrides work, search the FAQs/Tuts
for overrides for helpful articles. There's a chart in downloads/other modules/overrides chart for a quick visual aid.
