Default Login page a mess after SSL installed

I finally got the shared SSL from my host working on my site, and it's great EXCEPT now any secure page looks like a mess -- text is different-sized and overlapping, half the banner and link text is gone, generally yuck. What do I need to fix? To see the problem, click on my link below and then click on Login. If you want to login and see the continued problem, use [email protected] with password test.

I may be wrong, and one of the experts might jump in here and either confirm or deny my thoughts, but I think it's because of your shared SSL cert. In the first place it gives the customer a warning that the cert don't match the site, which will run your potential new customers off before thay ever create an account. If you want a successful online business, NEVER use a shared certificate. In the second place, I think the reason it's messing up your site, is because your site is being redirected to this address: https://secure.bluehost.com/~steiger...db7b12d18bab27
and NOT showing up as: https://www.steigerfamily.com/ZenCart/main_page=login
as it should be. Therefore your site can't access your stylesheet.css properly, or theirs is overriding yours.......one or the other.

The point is DON'T use ANYTHING but a dedicated certificate that belongs to you and ONLY you!

    Hope this helps.

The tutorial instructions gave specific instructions for using a shared certificate, so I can't help thinking that isn't the problem.

I actually did price getting my own SSL, and it would add $75/year to my website hosting cost. At this point, I simply cannot afford that.

I understand totally. But, with those warnings popping up, I just don't think you'll get ANY customers no matter how good you make the site look. And I don't think you'll ever resolve this issue until you DO get a Private Certificate.

I've actually had customers with no SSL at all. But I would prefer to have the SSL working, and the tutorial indicates a shared SSL is an option.
