Sideboxes and Advanced Search Results Page

Anyone know how to turn off the sideboxes on the Search Results page?

The Admin / Config / ez-pages settings call for a # and this page reads, for example (based on this manufacturer):

index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=24

or

index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=bench

**where "24" and "bench" change based on search.

Confused and goin nuts.

Your answer probably lies in:-

includes\templates\template_default\common\tpl_main_page.php

Here, you can disable columns by page - which effectively disables the sideboxes in those columns.

You can also create custom tpl_header.php files that can be configured to hide (or display) components.

includes\templates\template_default\common\tpl_header.php

Remember, after editing these files, they should be saved in your CUSTOM template folders.

Additionally, you may like to try CUSTOM STYLESHEETS to see if they give you your desired result.

Read the css_read_me.txt file that accompanies the stylesheets in a standard zencart templates css folder.

Here, you would probably use the " display: none; " style attribute to hide unwanted components.
