checkout problem

After filling in cc info and clicking continue, the cart "sends" the info, clears the payment boxe and stays on the payment page.

If you re-enter the payment info and click continue it works the second time. My concern is what is happening to the payment info... Where is it "going." What could be the cause???

Follow up - And after you complete the order and logoff, if you log back on, it takes you to your order payment screen again, ready to place the same order again...

What payment module are you using? What other addons?

i am using the zen cart 1.3.8a cc module.

two addons i have installed related to the check out process are:
easy signup and login mod
fast and easy checkout mod

Remove both of them and test your module, then re-add one at a time.

I am having the exact same problem, but I have made no updates, nor have I made any changes to the site. I am using goEmerchant, and they said its on my end, and I agree. I also use PayPal IPN, and that works fine. I only noticed because my sales have dropped off recently, and one of my customers let me know that there was a problem. Please help!
