    Default LinkPoint stopped working 03-26

I have not been able to accept credit cards since 3-26. At first I just though we were experiencing some kind of strange seasonal slow down, but then I noticed that we are only getting paypal orders and not credit card orders.

Looking at my Credit Card Review report and based on emails from customers it looks like somewhere around the 3-26 time frame that things stopped working.

This morning I decided to put in a real order to see if I could. When I got to the page 3 of 3 during the checkout process and hit confirm, I got this error after about 30 seconds:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives.

Has anyone been experiencing linkpoint issues? I am running Zen Cart 1.3.5

    Who are you hosted with?
Have they changed anything on their servers? or firewalls?

If you were using a newer version of Zen Cart, you'd be able to enable some debug logging options in the payment module in order to find out what's happening during communication attempts to reach linkpoint's servers.

Grab the curltest.php tool from this post: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...522#post408522
and upload it to your /extras folder.
Then post a URL link where I can access it ... to test whether communications are blocked.

I am using a company called http://www.lakesite.net. I will check to see if there has been any server changes.

I uploaded the curl test. Here is a link.

The new linkpoint mod sounds great. I will have to look into upgrading....

Looking into it it now looks like the issue started somewhere between the 23rd and the 26th.

Regular CURL seems fine, but talking to Linkpoint appears to be blocked:

    http://foxdenlane.com/store/extras/c...hp?linkpoint=1
Notice that it takes forever for the page to load.

You'll need to talk to your hosting company and get them to open up port 1129 on the firewall for outbound communication, if you want to continue using the Linkpoint module.
