    I had this happened just a few days ago but don't quite remember the details. I know that I was working in the area of trying to get free shipping to work.

    I don't want to send you down the wrong path but I believe I accidentally had the free ship and free ship options modules on at the same time. And, it had something to do with the 0 weight. When I ordered an item owht 0 weight I received this message but when I added an item that had weight the problem disappeared.

    Again, take this with a grain of salt because I don't remember the details; just that I was working to make free shipping operational.

    I had the same problem to and I found out that when I was configuring my taxes and zones is where I had the issue. Check out the following article below and set up your taxes and zone and it should fix the problem, it did for me. Hope this helps. Thanks

    I have the same problem, but my taxes are set up correctly. Anyone else know why this is happening?

    For me I had to install both the UPS and Free Shipping modules, which works for free, paid and combination free/paid shipping.

    We had the same sort of problem - on several different stores - don't have a clue what was wrong - of course the hosting company says nothing changed.

    i get this as well when tryin to ship to places outside of Canada. I live in canada and have my taxes for zones set up properly..it was working properly prior to this. And all of a sudden i get a message from a gentlemen from france, stating that he is gettin this error...so i did some testing..i used a france address in my tester account and it gave me the same error...i used an american address..and gave me the same error...

    my shipping modules include CP (Canada Post) and UPS (United Parcel Service)...they were both working fine untill just recently. The american shipping address that i had tested worked properly before as well..and suddenly it just stopped. Would this be a problem with zencart or specifically my Shipping module calculators?

    welllllll i'm an idiot..

    problem solved. I noticed that under the UPS shipping zone, it was set to "Canada" rather then 'none'.....i have a business partner who thinks he knows everything...he played around with the settings..and thus..i ended up with this problem...thx anywayz guys!

    I don't necessarily understand how everything changed, however I was receiving the same message when trying to ship out of my home state. When I checked the shipping modules (all of them), the "Shipping Zone" option had changed from "none" to my home state. When I reset this to "none" with all of the modules, it corrected the problem.

    I seem to be having the same problem as well.

    I am trying to setup free shipping only.(no other shipping modules)
    All Products will be shipped from chine to australia
    I have redone the shipping module and it made no difference.

    All the zones and taxes are setup correctly. I also double checked this against other zencarts under our control and they are all identical (all the others are working)

    I have also tried adding the UPS module, However this then said that only the UPS module was available for the zone. In the settings for UPS the zone was set to none and in the settings for Free shipping the zone was set to australia (I also set this to none as well, no difference)

    Any Help would be great
