Zen Cart noob here, but I have a question I didn't see elsewhere.

How can I customize the success page (/shop/index.php?main_page=checkout_success) to add a custom note based on a specific product being purchased?

What you want to do is navigate to the checkout_success page and high light some of the wording to clone,

1. What you are doing is finding the wording on this page to locate the .php file to edit
2. Read below to finish

Developers Tool Kit

admin panel/ tools/ developers tool kit/
1. In the bottom box (left hand corner) enter in the Search wording.
2. Click the drop down menu under All Files Look-ups: Choose: All Files-Catalog/Admin
3. Click search, and WALA, you will find the files associated with this search.
4. Open that file in a good text editor and change the Wording

These are bad answers...

I'm trying to find out the same thing but no one seems to know how to use product specific comments or html on the CHECKOUT SUCCESS page. I know where all the files are, I just do not know how or in what zen cart stores variables at the success pages.

i'm thinking the only way to get the current product purchased information is through a $db sql query.

These questions have been ignored since the begging of Zen Cart. Someone please prove me wrong.

Give me some code that will provide product specific text for certain products after successfully purchasing a product(s)...
