Installed Template not showing up?

I have uploaded a template to the correct place in includes/templates and then when i go in my admin area and go to tools > template selection > edit it is not there i only have the original template.

I have tried changing the directory of the folder of my template but still nothing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Check to see that you have uploaded the template_info.php file to your
custom template folder.

ah, i had uploaded everything from my template on my local computer and didn't remove one of the folders which the template info page was in, it now works! Thanks!

Go to Admin/Layout Boxes Controller and hit the reset button.

One more question: My head Image always seems to link back to the shop when you click on it, how do i disable this? As the image has links to other sites itself on it.
