objects cached somehow?

I modified the shoppingCart object but the changes will not be reflected and I have no idea one I've tried:

- searching for duplicate classes
- renaming the shopping_cart.php file and it still loads!
- clearing cookies from the browser and restarting
- loading the shopping_cart.php with an include to test only to have php complain that it is already loaded even after I renamed shopping_cart.php!

What could be going on? where is it loading the class from if the file has been renamed!

Have you recently added any 3rd party add-ons? If so, I would start there.
