    Default Website not connecting to paypal

    HI,

    I've been trying to get my site to link up with paypal and have followed the instructions on how to do it however if i press confirm order it just says

    Your order is being processed, please wait...

    and then does nothing.

    Am i missing something obvious?

    What PayPal method are you using?

    Standard IPN, Express, or??

    Did you enter the correct information in admin > modules > payment > your method?

    HI

    it's just the standard IPN

    So far all i have done is:

    * set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to:
    http://autographshed.co.uk/ipn_main_handler.php
    (If another URL is already used, you may leave it alone.)
    Be sure that the Checkbox to enable IPN is checked!
    * in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:
    http://autographshed.co.uk/index.php...eckout_process


    it does say further down:

    **Port 80 is used for bidirectional communication with the gateway, so must be open on your host's router/firewall
    *PHP allow_url_fopen must be enabled


    Now I'm not sure how to do this,is it automatic?

    In the admin > modules > PayPal IPN - Website Payments Standard >
    Is:

    Enable PayPal Module > set to true?
    Business ID - did you enter your paypay account email address?
    Mode for PayPal web services > set to your locale?

    Thanks but all those are at the correct settings.

    i've just noticed that i get the same problem when selecting cheque/money order as well.

    Check for allow_url_fopen in your Zen Cart

    admin > tools > server version info > and at Configuration - PHP Core you should find allow_url_fopen and see that this is "on". These are in alpha order

    "Where" do you see this message? That's not a Zen Cart message.

    Did you download and install the cart? What version are you using? What addons are you using?
