Offering a Free Shippng Coupon for Ground Shipping Only

Hello:

I'd like to offer free ground shipping for certain items.

If I create a coupon and tick off "Free shipping", this is applicable for all shipping methods.

Is there a way to make this only applicable for ground shipping only. Such that if a customer chooses, 2nd day, 3rd day or next day, the shipping price will be applied.

So that the shipping cost will be zeroed out, only if ground shipping is chosen along w/ the coupon code #.

You would need to customize the shipping modules to change from whatever is selected to ground ...

The way it is written now, the Discount Coupon is added with the Payment method then the Discount is applied based on the Shipping Method selected ...

You want the Shipping Method selected to be automatically changed ...

This could be customized, but it is not part of Zen Cart at the moment nor is there an add-on for this ...

I need to do this also, I was considering rejecting the coupon if anything other than ground had been selected, but if I follow your advice and change the shipping choice, can you lead me toward the correct files to make the change?

I also need to do this, alternatively i would like an error message to be triggered that would say "you need to have ground shipping to qualify"...

anyone know what files / where to add it in...? i have looked in everything i can find and cant figure out where to do it...
