deliveries by week

Hi,
We are setting up a cart for a catering service and menus are available by week and the menu items have to be ordered in advance.
I intend to make each week a category with all items for that week showing on a single page, with boxes next to each item for the quantity, exactly as in ALL PRODUCTS (but can this be done for a category)?

My other and maybe main problem is how to have a per week shipping amount (say, $7.99) so that if a customer orders for week1 and week3, the shipping will add up to 15.98

Can something like this be done?

Charge does not have to be set as shipping.. use attributes option

The charge(s) is to be applied to a week as a whole for a given customer and not per item. Adding it as an attribute would, I'm guessing, be only possible iof it were a per item charge.

Then attributes would probably only work if they were conditional
and at the moment, that facility not available in zencart.

OK, but is this something one could get programmed into zencart at modest cost? Any idea of the cost and where to get a good deal?
