Paypal IPN Problem Need Help !!!!!!!Please!!!!!

I reuploaded all the 1.3.8a files again and still the same issue Is there anything anyone can do to help me!!! My site is completely down and unfortunately I just sent out 5000 emails yesterday to our active list to come and sign up

Would I be better off just using express checkout?? How does that work? Is there additional charges for that from paypal??

uninstall the module in the ZC admin
re-install in in the ZC admin

make sure that you have IPN and return url turned on at paypal.com

make sure that the email account you are using in zen paypal module, is the primary email address at paypal.com

and No im not telling you that they have to click the link
I am saying that they either need to hit the link or wait for the redirect

This has been the way this works since the begining of this project,

you have 2 choices, put verbage that says they need to click the link to return or use paypal express,

I have uninstalled and reinstalled paypal ipn , several times actually!

I can not put a return URL on Paypal if I am using the paypal account for multiple websites can I?? I have no choice but to leave it blank. But yet when I click or let the paypal screen return me to my site I get no order number. What gives??? What do we have to do to get it fixed??

if there is no URL for the return site from paypal in my paypal account. Where does Paypal get the "url" to return me to my site? Maybe we can look at that code? Maybe the url that paypal is getting for the return is wrong? Or maybe there is an issue in the coding itself? Could there be an issue with it because my cart is SSL?

Why would so many people have a problem. I have already verified that I have all the things enabled ith my host that were mentioned with the fopen stuff and all that, so that is definately not the issue. Any helo would be greatly appreciated. I have started using the paypal express checkout for now, but honestly I don't like it.

Ok short and sweet,

DONT leave it blank,
zen cart sends the corect url when it sends the information to paypal,.

MAKE SURE that you are using the primary email address from paypal.com ( check this in paypal.com under profiles -> email )
in the zen cart payment module


the reason so many people have an issue is over 90% human error.

Ok So Say I don't leave it blank. Then what happens to my other websites using the same Paypal account then?

Rich IF you need to have it filled in for another site use that url,

you can put google.com in it if you want to,

zen cart send the yurl in its information string totally overriding whatever you have in there,

this is ow you can have multiple zen cart sites and an ebay setup all using the same paypal account.
