Default PayPal Website Pro - Errors

Hi – I appear to have an issue in accepting payments from the website via the PayPal modules. I note that forum member “huwmac” is having the same problem but the answer or resolution does not appear to have been finalised.

    My issues are as follows

At check out there is no option in respect of the type of card being used e.g.
    a) credit card or b) a debit card.

I can advise that I have set UK mode in the Pro module settings which allows me to offer the switch/solo/maestro options. Accordingly I can also advise that I have enabled switch/solo/maestro as required in Admin->Configuration->Credit Cards

However the transactions are being rejected and I am receiving the dreaded
“We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment
method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (26 ) - Invalid vendor account.”

Like “huwmac” dont see anywhere to enter VENDOR, USER, PASSWORD and PARTNER details as refered to in the aforementioned thread by “huwmac”

Like huwmac the only place I seem to be able to enter validation data is in the fields API Signature username, password and signature code, and I know I have entered them correctly.

    I am currently using
    Zen Cart v1.3.8/v1.3.8
    PayPal Express Checkout (rev1.3.8a)
    and
    PayPal Website Payments Pro (v1.3.8a)

Can any one please help as I am losing sales due to this error?

Default Re: PayPal Website Pro - Errors

You need to upgrade from 1.3.8 to 1.3.8a
(regardless of whether your PayPal module says 1.3.8a inside it)

Idea or Suggestion Re: PayPal Website Pro - Errors

Thank you very much for your advice. I can advise that I downloaded the latest Version of zen cart and run WinMerge and thereafter replaced the appropriate files which had been changed. I then reinstalled the PayPal modules and hey presto it worked. I can now pay by Solo or Switch.

However it would have been good to have an option for the customer to select either debt or credit card but I did note that the cvv field did not allow any data to be entered although the transaction did complete successfully.
