    Default Dependent Attributes

    Hello,

    I'm just new with zencart, and I'm having some issues with it. Cause you see I'm trying to dependent attribute. Let's say:

    Category-->Product1-->Attribute1-->Attribute2

    And I need these in a drop down list that populates the sub attribute.
    for example to match the above layout.

    Mens-->Hoodies-->Colour-->Size

    The reason I need it like this is because certain colors only have certain sizes available. Where as others might have all sizes available.

    Any idea how can it be done?

    Thanks in advance!

    Far as I know, Zencart can't do dependent attributes yet - I think it's scheduled to be part of a future version.

    What you want is "dependent attributes"

    Zen Cart does not have support for dependent attributes -

    That can't be done in Zencart now. It is scheduled for a future release. There is no working mod for that function that I'm aware of. You would have to code it yourself, or hire it done.

    red flag Dependent Attributes

    How do I get two attributes to be dependent, I have seen something regarding the stock issue. However, I am putting together a printing website.

    The Problem is...Quantity 1,000 can be single sided 4/0 or both sides the pricing is different. The Same type of printing can be Quantity 2,500 and can be either singlke sided or double sided.

    Is there someone who canhelp me or design something that works for this.

    Thanks

    help question Dependent Attributes?

    Is it possible to have "If" "Then" statements for attributes?

    For example, we have custom made products. Sometimes if a customer selects Item #1 they can not have attribute A. So when they are on the custom order form and they select Item 1 (an attribute via drop down) then the attribute that would populate attributes A, B, C, D will not show A as an option. I hope my explanation is clear.

    If this is possible, how? I look forward to all responses. Thank you in advance.
