German Lang install

Hi
Have been trying to get German to work on my site. The German Title and description show under the item edit but instead of a flag it says German title and on the website there are no flag chooses for language and no buttons at all to change language. So I have put German text in but no way to locate it on my pages. Also how do you put the German main page on and other define pages and EZ pages? Please if you can give me a little guidance

What you are actually doing is creating a German directory to mimic the English Directory and english.php.

catalog/includes/language/english/

catalog/includes/language/english.php

Example:

define('TEXT_GV_NAME','Gift Certificate');
define('TEXT_GV_NAMES','Gift Certificates');


Change Gift Certificate to Geschenk-Bescheinigung

Do this for any English or German that was not changed in the language pack, or on other pages.
