    Default Having problems with rates.

My goal is to have £6.50 shipping cost up to £75, above £75 i would like the shipping cost to be free. Unfortunatly it is not working the way i would like. I have provided screen shots to show you what i have done.

---------The options i have selected screen shots---------------------

    ---------Estimated shipping screenshots--------------------------------

*/I would like this to show that it will be £6.50 on order under £75, at the moment there is no information on this page to show this (this is the main problem i am having)./*

    Any help greatly appreciated

In your Table Rate, why not put 75:6.50,10000:0

(Also ensure Calculation Method is set to Price)

    Then get includes\languages\english\modules\shipping\table.php

Put a copy of it into your custom folder, then edit the relevant constants.

Well with the Table Rate installed, you would normally get a line on the Shipping Estimator saying "Table Rate (Best Way)", with the price over to the right. Modifying the file I suggested allows you to edit the part that says "Table Rate (Best Way)" to something else.. maybe something that reflects your free shipping deal.

Ok so nothing appears in your Estimator table? Have you made any customisations to the files? Or it might be a template issue, try switching to the classic template.

Have made no customizations and nothing appears when using classic template either, it is exactly the same as shown in template 2.

    Cheers

It looks as if you've made a lot of changes in admin regarding your shipping setup. Maybe some of the settings conflict with each other. I would try resetting everything to defaults. Then try again with just the Table Rate. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't suggest anything else.

Removing and re-installing each module should reset their values. Just remember to write down any settings which you plan on using again.

Also, if you're not sure what admin defaults are, I find this site often comes in useful, it allows you to browse the admin side of a fresh install.

if your zones and contries and tax is all correct then the table rate is the way forward and should work in seconds
