Why am I getting Free shipping if Physical and Digital item brought together...

I sell digital downloads and CDs from my store. I have just discovered that if someone buys a digital item and a CD together then they get free shipping.

Free shipping should only be for digital items.

If a CD is brought on its own the Zen Cart correctly charges the right amount of shipping.

Could anyone tell me what me be going on with this?

Because you have inadvertantly setup your Digital Products incorrectly ...

10 to 1, you have marked you Downloads as Virtual Products YES ...

Downloads are NEVER marked as Virtual Products YES ...

Downloads are NEVER marked as Always Free Shipping YES ...

Downloads "know" that they are Free Shipping because of the filename on the Attribute ...

By marking them as Virtual Products you are getting a subtract -1 for each in the cart ...

So 1 Physical Product -1 Virtual Product = 0 ... hence Free Shipping ...

Set those Downloads to not being Virtual Products and the math will work properly ...
