    Default admin/includes/configure.php blank

    I have a blank file - I'm guessing this is the reasaon i'm not getting an upgrade option and only "install"and "re-check" how can I fix this?

    If you are upgrading then you should have your current configure.php files there and they are not empty: See the guides

    I'm trying to fix someone's hacked forums - so unfortunately it's not that simple.

    I did find that it seems someone had made a copy of the file I needed and renamed it - and replaced it with a blank file, so i've edited that file and uploaded but I still have no upgrade option.

    I've checked and doublechecked that the username, pwd ect have been changed in both configure.php files so I'm lost as to what else to try...

    ok - i've overcome that problem (there problem with the file structure for the install files) but now i've run into another problem I'm not sure there's going to be a way around - I know the store's admin username, but not the password...
