Default Move main nav items to categories nav

    Hi

I want to move my 'Log In' 'Log Out' 'My Account' 'Shopping Cart' 'Checkout' links to the categories nav bar, and right aighn them so they are separated from my categories. I can see the code I have to take out of tpl_header.php, but where do I need to put it back in?

    See http://www.sustainabledesign.co.nz/software/

It's ugly at the moment; I'm working my way incrementally through the changes I want to make.

    Thanks

    Glenn

This will involve lots of hacking, and as we are not sure of how you ultimately want it to look and function, you'll need to provide a detailed brief... after which someone may contact you with a commercial quote!

Rather than try to combine the functionality of different boxes (not very easy to achieve), why dont you simply alter the stylesheet to make it APPEAR as if the boxes are "blended"?

This is much easier, and avoids the need to hack away at the code - which sometimes results in problems.

You should be able to put the links in /includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_modules_categories_tabs.php.

Add a new div after the #navCatTabs div, and then in your stylesheet float the new div to the right.

Another method might be to simply move the <!--bof navigation display--> code block in tpl_header.php to just after the <!--eof-optional categories tabs navigation display-->, and float #navMainWrapper to the right while floating #navCatTabsWrapper to the left. Some other tweaking may also be required.
