I imagine the funds go into your PayPal account. You don't need a merchant account with anyone else.

Website Payments Pro is a regular credit card merchant account, and works like any other. You can have the funds deposited into any bank account.
Not sure if you can only use a UK bank.

With a PayPal UK account, your funds go into your PayPal account, whether you use regular PayPal mode, or Express Checkout, or Website Payments Pro.
