Default Validation.... how do I fix these parse errors?

OK..I am just about completely done with this site....I have been working on the validation part now..and got it down from 258 errors to 63....the ones I am totally stuck on are the PARSE errors.....I have done a bit of research but cannot seem to grasp what they are or how to find where they are..

Can anyone take a peak and at least get me in the right direction to get these things to go away....

    Thanks in advance!!

I'm experiencing the same problems. Any suggestions on how fix this issue?
    ZenCart? Oh yeah sure!

When I check your (jill's) site through http://validator.w3.org it looks like most of the errors, including the parse errors, are failure to close HTML tags, with some typos. Each error entry tells you what the exact problem is, with line numbers.

Also, I'm still seeing the secure/non-secure error box on several of your pages - seems to have something to do with a 'quantcast' script.

Most of the errors I'm getting are these kinds, and they are ZenCart specific errors, none of those errors are caused by my coding, since I havn't modified that ZenCart installation:

    - cannot generate system identifier for general entity "cPath"
    - reference not terminated by REFC delimiter.
    - reference to external entity in attribute value
    - cannot generate system identifier for general entity "products_id"

I get hundred of these validation errors, and I'm using ZenCart version 1.3.7.

Did you install any add-ons or do some custom modifications? Or is all of this solved in the later ZenCart versions?
    ZenCart? Oh yeah sure!

Fix all the other errors first and most of those will go away - others will be caused by bad javascript tags.

So you're sure this is not something caused by ZenCart? Does this also mean that this can't be caused by JavaScript built into ZenCart?
    ZenCart? Oh yeah sure!

How accurate is that validator at http://validator.w3.org/?

Reason I ask is I ran my site through it and came back with some errors that I checked and are not valid. Here is an example:

Line 107, Column 6: end tag for "script" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.
    </head >
You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".

I checked the source of my page and the </head> is there and it is not missing the ">" tag.

Makes me wonder if the other errors I got are valid? Can anyone explain why this validator would report an error for a missing tag when it wasn't missing?

I used this validator to test a clean installation of Zencart, and it found no errors.

Doesn't mean, I guess, that all errors found are valid.

Errors can cascade ... You have to find the right errors. If you have added any java or flash you have to check the opening and closing tags carefully and follow the XHTML rules.
