Users say my site doesn't come up - I now know why

I doubt I am the only one who has this problem.
Some users are telling me they cannot pull up my web site.
This has been driving me nuts for a long time.

So I was away in Vagas on a trip. I noticed that I could get on in the morning at the hotel. However by the afternoon. I had no shot. Confirmed this on day two.

Remembering that there was a section in Store Manger that said something about
optimizing the database, I thought I would try that the next morning. So in the afternoon, My site comes up. Hooray. Now I know a fix. Well sort of.

My question is, is there this already? Or am I requesting the Zen team to make a modification that I am sure could be figured out how to do,

Scheduled Optimizations of the database.

Say Optimize every Monday at 2am est.
(I would have mine done daily....)

I think that you solved a problem but have mis-interpreted the root cause.

I have had sites with 100,000 products that never optimized their DB without access issues.

I would look to other "root causes"

The only thing I can think of is my database could use alot of cleaning.
There are products that no longer exists in admin that can be pulled up when I make a google feed. However since I cannot find them on the admin side I have no way of deleting them.
