For a year now, my client has been taking orders on her shopping cart, then filling the order, calculating shipping manually and then processing payments offline. (She doesn't want to do shipping through the cart and is adamant about that.) She also takes PayPal, however, and that has been a thorn in her side because she invariably needs to refund an overage or charge the customer more, once she calculates shipping and whatnot.
Then when the PayPal Woes began a few months ago, filling orders got even harder for her and her frustration level has almost met mine. What we want to do is give a customer the option to pay with PayPal, but, instead of paying automatically with Express or IPN, we want to process the order, get a final total, and THEN invoice the customer via PayPal.
I looked at Offsite Payment Module as a possible solution, but I do not want to uninstall the Ceon Manual Card v1.2.0 or the Installment Plan mods that we use for other payment options. I am not sure yet if I can use these three mods side by side and comment out the stuff in Offsite Payment that has to do with the credit card payment, since I already have a mod handling that.
Has anyone implemented a scenario as I described above and/or have any recommendations as to how I might make this happen?
I recently upgraded to Zen 1.3.8.
Thank you!
