Can anyone help me?
I want to place the feed into a sidebox. I have a new box (called Blog) from the 'blank sidebox' mod.
But I cant get it to show the feed. I have tried the following butI'n no php coder... and it doesn't work.
$content .= 'CarpCacheShow(http://www.thepersonalisedtouch.com/blog/?feed=rss2)';
I don't recommend doing this. First of all the formatting will be wonky and hard to read. Second of all you'll pay the overhead of communication with your blog on every page load.
If you install my contribution as is, it should work for you.

Well that saved me lol. I continued with the instructions to the point of placing the link in the 'Catagories' box... As I use the 'Fly-Out' CSS mod, I saw the links staring me in the face for the 'Blank Side Box' mod.... Works perfectly!
When I get time I want to change the naming from blog to News altough not really sure if there is any benefit to be had aprt from aisthetics.
Great Stuff!
Hi All, notanoob but can't get this mod to work yet: using ZC 1.5; the install went ok, but the feed I want to use is .xml. In any case I have tried pasting the code you get from the install just like it is, but no content shows up. I pasted it into the define_main_page using the define pages editor, done in html. Also tried it in editable_sidebox, which shows text ok, but no feed/s. I also tried feeds from other sources trying to get a .rss feed that would work. Any ideas? My site http://selfdefense-inc.com
Got it to work!! The trick for me was NOT to enter the code using a html editor (tiny MCE), but just enter the code as plain text. I placed it on "page 2" using the define pages editor. Now I am hoping to get it to work from the main page editable sidebox.
Hi Scott
Will this work on the latest version 1.5.7 with the Westminster_New template? Thought I'd ask before attacking it head on :-)
I'm not wild about people running WordPress blogs on their Zen Cart servers these days.

Me neither, that's why I created News Box Manager v3 as a blog-replacement.
