Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]

Though its not template specific , our query goes as below
we modified the stylesheet.css to show multiple background images (two actually- one for the top centre and one one for the rest of the page)
the problem is it dosent work in IE<v9 as it does not support multiple BGs

So how could we have single background for IE and multiple for the rest ?
How should it be done , multiple stylesheets ?

There are a number of ways to do it. One way would be to have specific stylesheets for ie8, e7, ie6.

we tried

but the page was background less on IE as well as chrome but worked as intended on Opera

any suggestions ?

We wanted to change this red strip and found it to be named 'mega-bk.png' in the abbington mega images folder .
but changing it isnt working .

is it the right file ?

OK dont worry, found it out , you never used a image but this

-moz-linear-gradient(top, #9a1212, #640f0f);background: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 0%, 0% 100%, from(#9a1212), to(#640f0f));background: -o-linear-gradient(top, #9a1212, #640f0f)*/;}

replacing it with a url solved the problem

I would recommend creating a separate ie9 stylesheet and then calling it in your html header file.

The background is not an image. You can chagne the color in the stylesheet_mega_menu.css file.

I have installed this template but cannot get the mega-menu to display. It just shows everything like a sitemap.

Hi Anne great template just a minor problem if you click on the help link on the shopping cart page the text Visitors Cart / Members Cart
Visitors Cart is the same colour as the bar at the top of the pop up how do you change the font colour for this.

I forgot to report back - I was having trouble with my computer.
Got if fixed but now I need to know how to TURN OFF the manufacturer listing??
