Default Templete Updates - Google Pagespeed Suggestions

Hi All,
I was wondering can the suggestions at http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...69#post1111869 be put in ZC 1.5.1a or v1.6? I asked my template creator but he said they are really needed in the core http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...82#post1154282 .

To test Google now have a website at pagespeed.googlelabs.com

Great to see html5 in version 1.6 roadmap :)

I think they're misunderstanding the suggestions.
Moving your template images into a sprite object is entirely up to the designer, since the images are specified in the css file and in the template files. There's no need to wait for a major template architectural change.

The other suggestions are minimal and unlikely to provide significant performance gains, so can be ignored.
