My site is only local (XAMPP), as I would not want to open a substandard live site!

There the arrow is to the right.....

Since the arrows WORK on the demo, looking at it can't help YOU.. Some change you made put them out of whack.. So need to see what YOU did to see how to correct YOUR site.. Can't do that looking at screenshots..

If you don't want to link it to the shippnig info page then change the anchor tag.

Any idea why the link "...?main_page=contact_us" times out? There is a contact_us folder in ../includes/modules/pages.

Why is the home page wider than for instance the categories page? Have I missed some setting?

Nope.. and it is ESPECIALLY tough to help you troubleshoot if no one else has the same issue combined with the fact that we can't SEE your site..

I have just downloaded the latest ZC version to a live site and added Anne's template to it (no other plugins or language whatsoever) and cannot reproduce any of your issues on my end.
