Installing this addon was a breeze, but I think the docs could be more user friendly. You have to dig a bit to work out how the attributes work.

A simple readme file would be helpful.

It could say you simply install the relevant modules as for any shipping module (seems pointless, but why not?)

However, what is missing is a note explaining that you can restrict the available shipping methods by adding RO attributes to the products.

Explain that the sql file sets up the attributes automatically.

I worked this out fairly easily, but it wasn't explained in simple terms.

The docs go into detail without first giving an overview. It's otherwise such an excellent product that it is worth the effort.

If you want to send some suggested wording I would be happy to update the how to use attribute posting file. The issue with developers (me being one) is that it is often difficult to describe something you have developed as you know how it works.

2. Is there the option to have a free store collection/pick-up within x amount of miles of the store?
3. Are you able to set postage rates depending on value of the order? e.g. upto £50 1st class would be £3.00 upto £150 1st class would be £4.00 etc?

Sorry for the questions, I cannot install modules myself so am paying someone else to install it and need to know it will do what my current Advanced Shipper module will do (this is playing up and charging random postage costs, but only new version I can see is a pay a lump sum then an annual fee one).

1) Yes you can change the wording (however 1st class is not royal mail 24 hour) to change the wording you need to edit the files in <YOUR SITE>\includes\languages\english\modules\shipping\ it would be preferable to copy the files to <YOUR SITE>\includes\languages\english\modules\shipping\<YOUR TEMPLATE> and change them there.

2) There is a store pick up option, Not part of this module, called store pickup. It does not limit to a distance from the store and would probably need modification to make it work like that. I use it on my store https://innerlightcrystals.co.uk/sales/ and have not had issue with people putting in collect when they are a long way away.

3)I don't know of a price based shipping cost. it may be possible to use the insurance rates on special delivery to make this happen. you would need to clone the module and rename it then set up the step rates that up need.

I've just built a complete new shopping site used zen cart 1.55f. I installed Big Royal Mail mod, but it does not work.
e.g.
Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For "Small Parcel"
it only show "GB & Northern Ireland only for this service", but no rate apply.

I installed all php files and run install32 and 2017update.sql, most of these result in zero row effecting. I found the some values missed from tablet "configuration_key", such as there is not value of 'MODULE_SHIPPING_RM1STSMLPARCEL_ZONES_COST0_1' in it. Which sql does install these values? What stages did not miss?

Do I need to set up a zone/ zone definition?

I did not upgrade, it is purely new install this mod from scratch.

The 'MODULE_SHIPPING_<module name>_ZONES_COST0_1 are created when you install the module in ADMIN>modules>shipping><shipping module name> The 2017 update is only used for people who already had the modules set up prior to the price rise last April. Is you site live so I can have a look to see what you are getting so I might be able to get an idea of what is going on. If you post a link to the live/test site it may help. Alternatively can you describe in more detail what is displayed.
