resizing page with sophyblue template

Anyone know how to make the page fill the width of the browser window instead of leaving the huge border on the sides?

I've tried a few things with no luck.

This template is not a "fluid" template and is sized limited by some of the header graphics. One could slice this image into a tile that could be repeated across the width to make it fluid and resizeable
