    Default days of respite

    Is it possible to set days of respite, instead of a date when a product wil be in stock.

    for instance 14 days. so if one customer order the product he will se that it wil take 14days before it's shippment.

    Why? because we don`t have all the products in our warehouse, but we can order from another warehouse.

    Regards Kjetil

    Admin->Catalog->Categories/Products
    -- navigate to the product and edit
    -- enter a date for the 'Date Available:'

    On the front end you should see "This product will be in stock on <day> <dd-Mmm-YYYY>."

    You can manipulate the text an override copy of the language define.

    If some products are not regularly stocked in your warehouse, you might best just put a note at the bottom of the description that says "Ships in 14 days from order" or whatever.

    I have a product date related problem.
    I hope I am not barging in.
    Is it possible to Disable or to put out of market a product by putting an end date somewhere? A bit like the Special or the featured?
    No good using the stock quantity feature for me.
    Thanks

    There is no expiration date for a product in the catalog. You could create an "End Date" field for products and then have a script that runs daily, weekly, etc.. which would make products inactive based on the expiry date. This must be custom coded.
