Best sellers "page"

hi,

on the normal categories the table headers (product name, manufacturer etc) work as filters for the search results. e.g to order by lowest price

On the best sellers page they are just plain text and no longer work as filters

Glad to have this mod. Here's a couple of things I found:
1. The "languages" is named "laguages" so add an n to correct:

Since I have no clue how to go about doing what you suggested, I decided to be sneaky and I did this instead:

1. Made a copy of tpl_modules_product_listing.php and renamed it tpl_modules_product_listing2.php

2. changed tpl_best_sellers_default.php to show tpl_modules_product_listing2.php

3. removed productsListingTopNumber and productsListingListingTopLinks from tpl_modules_product_listing2.php and replaced them by manually adding links to
main_page=best_sellers
main_page=best_sellers&page=2

So now I am only showing them 30 of the bestsellers, even though the file is actually bringing up over 1200. Unfortunately, by doing it this way you cannot tell which page you are on unless you look at the web address in the top of your browser. But with only 2 pages, I don't think thats a big deal.

Its enough to make me shut up about this and move on to something else!

I was having the same problem and used your solution with a minor edit and it worked great for me. I completely removed the productsListingBottomNumber and productsListingListingTopLinks (as well as the BottomNumber/Links) and now it displays just one page with my top 15 Best Sellers.

I also made another small change and made the Best Sellers sidebox header a clickable link leading to this page like Featured Products and New Products.

To do this, go to:

/public_html/includes/modules/sideboxes/best_sellers.php

FIND (on or about line 75):

$title = BOX_HEADING_BESTSELLERS;

ADD AFTER IT:

$title_link = FILENAME_BEST_SELLERS;

Works like a charm!
