red flag Anyone using PEC with other payment modules installed

I can't seem to get PEC to work as long as there is another payment module installed (moneyorder of other customer payment module).

All orders will go to the other payment module even if PEC is selected and processed.

This has been very troublesome for me, and I have actually lost orders that were entered while the other payment module was active.
Most customers get tired of reentering orders and payment info.

I've seen and worked with many stores using PEC along with other payment modules just fine.
In fact, on a clean install, using any combination of existing built-in modules, I can get PEC to work properly.

Perhaps you have something wrong in one of your many customizations.

    Thanks for the reply.
Are you referring to payment module customizations or customizations in general? Other than payment modules, what other type of customization can be affecting the payment processing?

Even using only standard payment modules such as Check/Money Order, or COD (I think these are standard), the PEC transaction is not created.

A scenario with only Mondy Order and PEC payment methods installed:
I set Money Order payment module for a specific zone, say Indonesia. (I've noticed that my shipping estimator always defaults to Indonesia, but I'm not sure why or how that is. Could this be an indication of the problem?)

I use the PEC button, and the PEC payment process runs allowing the user to enter credit card payment info. The process completes (without error). The payment method is set to Money Order and no PayPal transaction is created.
It doesn't matter if it is a new customer, having the customer record created by PEC, or if it an existing customer.

I don't know if this will help you, but I've had COD as an option along with both Paypal and Paypal Express, and the only problem I had was when Paypal wasn't including the shipping address a few months ago.

I never hear about this problem. Was the problem with PayPal or the mod. I mean was there a code change the fix this problem?

I think it was a Paypal problem, and like I said, it happened months ago and was apparently resolved. IAC, it hasn't been a problem for me in months.

If I use the standard PayPal checkout, there is not problem with the PayPal order. Go figure.

For now I have to remove the PEC button. I can't afford to risk losing orders.

If anyone can shed light on my problem or point me in a direction to figuring out the problem and possible solution please post.

    Thanks
