Customer's detailed order invoice link not working...

Hi,
I have encountered a problem with the customer's order conformation email notice. The problem is with the link that they will click on to see their detailed invoice. The link has a word right in the middle of the web address that isn't supposed to be there. The word is "idiocy".

I don't know why it is there and don't know how it got there. It is also on another email that comes to me when I have to approve a registration and it gives a link for me to approve and the same thing appears inside the link.

My designer and my host have looked for it throughout my admin, config, and database files and are unable to locate where the link is coming from so they can change it. Here is a copy of what the link looks like:

http://(first part of my web address here) idiocy (rest of my web address here).com/store/index.php?main_page=account_history_info&order_id=

I need to find out where to go in the files or admin to get that word "idiocy" out of my site's name. Also if anyone knows how in the world that word could have been put there that would be great to know too.

I found out that this is only occuring on my copy of the invoice and not the customer's copy. Would still like to know how to make my copy work though and the registration approval one too.

Can you go to your Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box, do a search on:
idiocy

Does it show up in any of your php files listed?

Yes, I did try that and nothing shows up. I just got a copy of my customer's update on an order and the copy I got also had that word in it and then I clicked on it and then when it came up and showed nothing, I was trying to close it out and started getting all kinds of pop-ups and had to shut IE down to get them to stop. I don't know where the source of those are coming from. I'm hoping that all the one's my customers get are ok though and I just won't open the ones I get since they are just copies anyway. But this really bugs me that it can't be fixed.

I recommend that you make an order yourself and see just what your customer is getting ...

And I strongly recommend you find what is causing this as if this is happening in one situation there is a chance you have other issues on your site that also are not safe ...

If you have no idea what to do, then I would recommend posting in the Commercial Help Wanted for someone to help you and to contact your host to see if there is anything that they can do to assist you ...
