the mod does not support "sequenced" dropdowns or visually tell folks which product variants are out of stock from the cart side.

Let me clarify part of what I posted.. There are at least two very active SBA support threads. Besides this thread there is also this thread:

Several (including this one) contain posts which appear to "resolve" this. (an example can be found here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=642)

However it should be noted that these solutions only add this functionality for products in which you are creating SINGLE attribute product variants. (ie: Small t-shirt)

If you have product variants which include MORE THAN ONE attribute (ie: Small, blue t-shirt) these "fixes" don't appear to help with display of out of stock product variants which include more than one attribute.

I have items in many colors and sizes. But I can't prevent a customer from adding a item that is out of stock if one attribute as stock remaining.

I SWEAR I'm not trying to be a smart a$$.. BUT.. if you look at the post RIGHT above yours I JUST talked about this.. This is why I ALWAYS recommend that folks read through support threads in their entirety.. It's very likely that your question has already been answered.. HTH..

Hello to all

I am a new zenner and have uploaded the most recent version of the attribute stock add on to my site. I tested the add on and noticed that the merchandise with stock set to 0 still can be added to the cart and does not show out of stock until the shoppingcart comes up. is there any way to install or modify something in order to say out of stock beside the sizes which have no stock. I am not too familiar with code completely so I do apologize.

Hey diva i noticed a few moments afterwards that it was right above. I have added the code so that if the quantity is 0 then it is not displayed. however I tested my site and the product is not removed from my stock once the merchandise is purchased is there any way to have it reduce stock level once something has been purchased? this I could not find in the thread or maybe my sight lef tme for a while and missed it.

The issues with stock not being removed from the inventory seem unique to the MultiAdd or Ajax versions.. I have not had an issue with this functionality working properly using Kuroi's version. Are you using the Ajax version??

Okay so correction on this one. Apparently as I did read there is an issue with the ajax I told the individual to add kuroi's he did not and added the ajax files. can this be fixed in the ajax module or do I have to download and uplaod kuroi's?
