I also notice that when I've cleared the cache, medium images don't appear upon hovering in the sidebar. When one is selected, though, the others regenerate. Guess I should mention that in the IH forum; don't know whether it's related to this problem.

The Hummer image is the only one that hangs up. Is this image actually 640 or larger? I found that the program has an issue with images larger than 800

The Hummer image is 640x480. (The others are smaller than 600 wide.)

I'm going to have a real problem with this if I can't use pictures that are 640x480.

It's there. Don't know why you can't browse it directly; maybe something to do with the https prefix.

You get a similar 403 error if you try to look at the other pictures, but they're there too (and visible in lightbox).
Edited: there's an .htaccess file in that directory. It's probably part of one of the latest security patches.

I just wonder if this is some undocumented limitation in lightbox...it's really going to jam me up if I can't go into production with 640x480 images, though.

Try re-naming the .htacess file for a moment and see wht happens. Also check the file and folder permissions.

Eureka! It appears to have been that .htaccess file. I guess that's going away. I don't even remember where it came from, but as I said above, I think it was part of a security patch. Guess I'll have to find someone who can modify it to work with lightbox.

Question: Is there a reason why your whole site runs under https?

I think something wasn't working right unless the entire site was under https, but I honestly can't remember. Is there any disadvantage to doing so?

about lightbox and some purchased templates

I found that some of the templates with their own jscripting sometimes run into a problem and the lightbox will not behave due to the coding.

if you compare files with the lightbox and the template maybe there is a like file that can be merged instead of just uploaded

I found the problem but not yet the answer.....it is lightbox code and template code conflicting....

template has some jquery javascripting to a) produce scrolling banners and b) a dynamic shopping cart

By disabling all the jquery code I can now get lightboxes....

See a static page I made at http://www.flowers-by-design.info/pr...e_lightbox.htm versus the normal database driven one at http://www.flowers-by-design.info/in...&products_id=2

Static page (no Jquery code so no dynamic cart) works with lightbox...dynamic page (has jquery and dynamic cart) doesn't work with lightbox.....

We're going back to the template makers for a fix.....

Just found out that jquery make a lightbox code for Zen....I'm going to uninstal the present one and give that a go......
