Cool...that was it. I guess I was expecting to see it as soon as I logged in. It at least partially works now. When I try to email a friend, I get a message that just says

Cheryl Kemp's Wish List at Diva Knitting
$EMAIL_MESSAGE_HTML

...no links or list or anything.
